X-Series 97-13 Corvette C5/C6 Front Drag Racing Brakes (Reuses Factory Hubs)

Please note this kit uses a bracket that sandwiches between the bearing and spindle. This will cause spacing of the tire by 1/4" which can potentially cause tire to fender interference (primarily in base model style fenders). Wide body Grandsport/Z06/ZR1 cars will not have tire fitment issue.

DR1X / F1X Front Calipers

Our new DR1X and F1X front calipers are designed to work with both hub style brakes as well as true spindle mount brakes. These new X-series calipers offer the same great stopping power that has always come standard with TBM thanks to their true dual opposing 1.75” pistons. The TBM design has always offered a more rigid and stronger caliper over slider pin style calipers while also improving its no drag characteristics. The X-series features new billet 7075 aluminum coated 1.75” pistons that offer corrosion resistance, extended wear life, and weight savings over previous TBM front calipers already known as the lightest, and most capable on the market.

 This kit fits:

• 1997-2013 Corvettes (Including Base/427/C-5/C-6/Z06/Grand Sport/Carbon/ZR1)

Please use red Loctite on all rotor bolts

We recommend using TBM DOT 5.1 Extreme 6 Brake Fluid for all TBM Brake Kits. You'll need at least 4 (12 oz) bottles of fluid when building and plumbing a new system that is empty.
